Favreau’s Happy Hogan last appeared in the film, Spider-Man: No Way Home, not counting his voice role in Marvel’s What If…?. Feige’s excitement at CinemaCon got a little R-rated as he dropped the F-word to describe how amazing the film was. Feige revealed that filming Deadpool 3 was incredible and “f**king” awesome. “It’s [Deadpool & Wolverine] incredible. It’s extremely exciting. And… I hope you won’t mind if I say… it’s f**king awesome. It’s f**king awesome and the reason I can say it’s f**king awesome is because it’s an R-rated movie.”
Apart from the returning cast from the first two films, there are several new additions to this new MCU film. Succession actor Matthew Macfadyen plays Mr. Paradox in the film. A Murder at the End of the World actor Emma Corrin is confirmed to play the central villain character, Cassandra Nova, in the film.
