When he presented the film at CinemaCon, the Marvel President’s excitement got a little R-rated.

Feige shared that making the film was incredible and “f**king” awesome. He showed no regret in dropping the F-bomb, stating that his audience wouldn’t probably mind because the film is also R-rated. He shared (via Deadline Hollywood | X):

“It’s [Deadpool & Wolverine] incredible. It’s extremely exciting. And… I hope you won’t mind if I say… it’s f**king awesome. It’s f**king awesome and the reason I can say it’s f**king awesome is because it’s an R-rated movie.”

Director Shawn Levy was also excited but refrained from using R-rated expressions. He shared that he was lucky that he got to direct Reynolds and Hugh Jackman‘s reunion after X-Men Origins: Wolverine. He added that both actors brought “their A-game every day” to their most iconic roles (via EW).

In the 10-minute footage, Wade Wilson aka Deadpool is shown as working as a car salesman after retiring from his superhero life. As fans largely guessed, Morena Baccarin‘s Vanessa and Wade are not together anymore. Wade celebrates his birthday with many of the returning characters from the previous movies. He admits to Peter, played by Rob Delaney, that he’s struggling with his newfound normal life.

As the celebration progresses, the Time Variance Authority (TVA) from Loki crashes the birthday party and takes away Wade to meet with Matthew Macfadyen’s Mr. Paradox. The footage also teased Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine as they’re seen driving together in a car. Deadpool makes fun of Wolverine’s yellow costume, sharing that he looks like he plays for the Los Angeles Rams.
