Let us break it down for you. The recently released animated project X-Men ’97 has been the talk of the town for quite a while now. With the return of fan-favorite characters in the animated series, Marvel essentially reignited the original X-Men: The Animated Series from back in the 1990s.
Patton Oswalt, who portrayed the role of Pip the Troll in the 2021 MCU film Eternals is also a fan of the animated show. Being heavily interested in X-Men ’97, Oswalt took to his X (formerly Twitter) and talked about the brilliance of the show and how the MCU should make it canon by this point!

Patton Oswalt And Charlize Theron Became Quite Good Friends!
It was back in 2011 when Charlize Theron, Patton Oswalt, and, Patrick Wilson starred in a film titled Young Adult. With the movie having a comedy/thriller genre, the characters of Oswalt and Theron often end up spending some time together.
In an interview with The Film Experience, the Mad Max: Fury Road actress talked about how she and Patton Oswalt developed a good bond just like their on-screen characters. Theron further stated that the bond also helped them have a natural flow of acting and the friendship didn’t feel forced or fake!
“He didn’t let me get away with my sh*t. I didn’t let him get away with his sh*t. He pushed my buttons, and I pushed back.”
Since Theron was portraying the role of an alcoholic, in another interview, the duo talked about their “acting juice” and how it helped with a lot of the scenes.
“A lot of alcohol. We call it acting juice. We kind of got along right at the first table read,”
In the end, Young Adult received a rating of 6.3/10 on IMDB and a whopping 80% on Rotten Tomatoes. With an intriguing storyline to its name, the 2011 film is available to stream on Prime Video in the U.S.
