Unlike Funcom’s game, Dragon’s Dogma 2 does not benefit from the same level of popularity generated by the hype surrounding movies. However, there is a significant target audience interested in the genre who would most likely be interested in trying out Dune: Awakening.

Fans of the movies can spend a ridiculous amount of man-hours recreating the likeness of real people or characters from other franchises into the game.

According to Joel Bylos, the creative director of Awakening, fans are not deterred by the fact that the game takes place in an alternative timeline, as they are still eager to recreate the sibling antagonists Feyd-Rautha and Beast Rabban.

The developers have invested a considerable amount of time and effort into this feature, and fans are making the most of it. The advantage of being able to personalize an original character is that it creates a sense of ownership, and players feel like they are genuinely a part of the game’s world.
