It is not every day that you get famous women pleading with you to remove your shirt. Dakota Johnson and Leslie Mann’s 2016 interview with WSVN Miami anchor Chris Van Vliet caused ripples among her devoted fanbase, leaving them all swooning with envy.
From compliments about his attire to requests for shirtless interviews, Johnson and Mann definitely made their mark on poor Van Vliet, who did his best to keep up with their cheeky advances. The reporter was then told by the How to Be Single actresses that he was a “hot guy”, and they would not talk until he took off his shirt.
Johnson, 34, then cracked a playful joke, saying:

Have you ever had a friend who was just so funny that you couldn’t help but cry from laughter? Well, that’s exactly what Dakota Johnson experienced while working with Rebel Wilson on the set of How to Be Single. In a 2016 interview on Good Morning America, Johnson couldn’t stop gushing about her co-star, saying that Wilson’s comedic rants and runs have Johnson giggling and crying “off camera”:
Rebel is ridiculous. There was a lot of improvising. There was a lot of, you know, she would go on runs and rants and I would just be like giggling, crying off camera.
In the movie, Johnson plays Alice, a young woman who decides to take a break from her boyfriend in order to discover herself as a single woman in New York City. Along the way, she befriends the outgoing and undeniably hilarious Robin, played by Wilson. The two women form an unlikely friendship, with Robin showing Alice the ropes of living life to the fullest without being tied down.
Johnson explained that working with Wilson was a whirlwind of improvisation and uncontrollable laughter. But despite the comedic chaos, the former believed that the film had an important message for its young female viewers.
I think it’s about taking the time to just be yourself and, especially for young women, to figure out who you are and what you like. And go and do whatever you want all the time.
