Will Kevin Durand Return as Blob in Deadpool and Wolverine?
Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool’s leap into the MCU has been the talk of the town, and Hugh Jackman‘s return as Wolverine is the icing on the cake. With the added bonus of an R rating, this movie is shaping up to be everything fans have longed for.

Kevin Durand’s Blob first appeared in the 2009 film X-Men Origins: Wolverine. In the movie, he plays the character Fred Dukes, who later adopts the name “Blob” due to his mutant abilities. “I really should be because I remember when we were doing the scenes in Wolverine, he just kept saying ‘You’re going to end up with your own movie,’ and he really wanted me to come back and do the next Wolverine and The Blob was going to be the sumo wrestling champion in Japan when he goes to Tokyo but it never panned out,”
Even though Blob’s solo movie never materialized, this presents the perfect opportunity for his return. With Jackman advocating for him to take the spotlight, fans are eager to see how he’ll make his mark in this film. Is Channing Tatum Finally Going to be the Gambit?
The Gambit movie featuring Channing Tatum encountered various obstacles and was eventually canceled in 2019. Despite its demise, rumors persisted about Tatum potentially filming a cameo for Deadpool 3, (via mytimetoshineh1 on Instagram) fueling speculation among fans. Many eagerly anticipate the possibility of Tatum making an appearance in the film.
Tatum’s attachment to the Gambit role creates an enticing possibility for both him and his loyal fan base. With Deadpool 3 is gearing up to reunite with most of the actors from the first two films, bringing back familiar faces like Leslie Uggams, Karan Soni, Morena Baccarin, Rob Delaney, Brianna Hildebrand, Shioli Kutsuna, and Stefan Kapičić.
