One Piece is finally coming back after a long break of three weeks, with the release of chapter 1112. Fans are really excited to see what happens with Luffy’s big clash with the Five Elders.
At the same time, many fans are hoping that we might get to see Luffy’s father, Monkey D. Dragon, show up on Egghead Island. That would be a really interesting moment, but there is a very good chance that it is not going to happen.
Dragon is one of the most interesting characters in the entire story of One Piece. The Egghead Island arc has given us a bit more insight into his past. However, fans are super excited to finally see more of him because he has been so fascinating all along.
Why Monkey D. Dragon Won’t Appear in the Egghead Island Arc of One Piece
Fans had an expectation that the Bartholomew Kuma flashback might be a suitable introduction to Monkey D. Dragon on Egghead Island. This is why there is such excitement among fans to witness his entrance.
I'm 100% certain that Dragon will make a move that affects the finale of Egghead, but will he come to Egghead?
It's very interesting to consider, where else could Dragon make a move that would impact the events at Egghead Island? https://t.co/SDsRdgvfRx

Would be hype if he arrives at egghead. I want to see some feats for the most wanted criminal

I think he will arrive to Egghead if he has the wind fruit or something like that, he would probably be able to travel as fast as the wind and that is how he was never seen when he went to watch Luffy as a kid

Fans have expressed a desire for Dragon to join the storyline especially due to Luffy’s clash with the Five Elders. But they keep being let down when a new release comes out without his appearance.
A big reason why Monkey D. Dragon is not likely to show up in the next chapter of the Egghead Island arc or any other part of it is because the manga story does not appear like moving towards that side. Based on how Luffy has managed to deal with characters such as Saturn and Kizaru quickly in recent times, there exists a fair possibility that the Straw Hats can leave Egghead without much problems.
Monkey D. Dragon is known to be a very careful man, and it does not seem that he would take quick action in this situation.
Another point is that Dragon might not be near enough to Egghead for him to reach the island in time. It’s true, there could be a chance that Dragon or someone he knows has a Devil Fruit ability which could transport him quickly there – but this is still just a prediction.
In the end, not showing Dragon’s look in the Egghead Island arc could be a method to increase more excitement and expectation for his appearance later in the story.
How Could Dragon Impact The Rest Of The Final Saga?
While Dragon and the Revolutionary Army have maintained a relatively low profile thus far, recent events suggest that their forces have been engaged in bold operations against the Marines. The successful infiltration of Levely underscores their proximity to potentially launching an assault on Mary Geoise, the residence of the Celestial Dragons.
As we get near the finale of the Egghead Arc, it could be not much longer before Dragon and his group become more involved in the broader One Piece tale. Their attack on the Marines and Celestial Dragons hasn’t started full-blast yet, but it will change very soon.
It’s uncertain if their activities will be shown more in Elbaf Arc coming up, or after that, but one thing is for sure, Dragon and the Revolutionary Army will become extremely important allies to Luffy as they join forces against the World Government’s dictatorship bringing about a new era.
