Jonathan Majors had been enjoying the peaks of stardom with his major role as Kang the Conqueror in MCU’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. His acting skills were further praised when he starred opposite Michael B. Jordan in his directorial debut, Creed III. The sports drama project not only received positive reviews for its actors’ performances among other criteria, but it also helped in bonding the actors in real life.

But, given that the former has been sentenced to probation, many wonder whether he would return in the next installment of the Creed franchise. This could happen especially when the former shares a close bond with the director-actor, who is returning to helm Creed IV.

He plays the role of Adonis Creed, an accomplished yet newly retired boxer who faces off with his childhood friend and former boxing prodigy Damian Anderson (Jonathan Majors). Playing the onscreen antagonist surely helped Majors elevate his portfolio and also formed a close bond with his co-star.

He got candid about his bromance with the former as he told in an interview with ET

“We have a very amicable relationship that’s my best buddy. We support each other on a day to day, so, if it’s Marvel it’s Marvel that day, if it’s girl troubles, it’s girl troubles that day — whatever, whatever. He’s my brother.”

This is not the first time when the Loki star has expressed his genuine feelings about his co-star. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, he shared that their relationship transitioned from fast friends to actual brothers” showcasing the strong camaraderie they have for one another.

Given that differences between co-stars are a common thing in the entertainment world, it was surprising that the duo shared such a close bond. Despite the duo portraying rivals on-screen, their bonding in real life was far from that.

The Black Panther star made sure to revert to his co-star’s feelings when he expressed his admiration for Jordan in the ceremony when he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Via LA Times, Majors called his Creed III star “Michael B. Handsome” as he paid homage to the Fruitvale Station actor.

That’s the guy I know, and that’s the guy I’ve come to love. Today, brother, you go from man to god. You sit amongst Olympus and … no man on the planet I know deserves it more.”

Whereas, the former struggled to hold back his tears as he expressed his gratitude to his friend.

“Thank you to my brother, Jonathan Majors, for joining me on this ‘Creed’ journey, supporting me here today, getting me all teary-eyed and s—.”

He praised the actor for his work while reflecting on their collaboration in the sports-drama project.

“It was a true honor to watch you and your genius every day from behind the camera in a way that you made it harder for me to hop in front of the camera and sock you in the face every once in a while.”

The Creed III producer Irwin Winkler has already confirmed that a fourth installment is in development, with Jordan returning to helm the same. Given that the duo shares a close bond, Majors’s character could make a return in the next project.

However, it also depends on the Devotion star who was found guilty of assaulting his former girlfriend, Grace Jabbari in March 2023. He has been sentenced to a 52-week in-person domestic violence intervention program as he managed to avoid jail time.
