1. Emily Rudd Did Actual Burglar Stuff

At the beginning of the One Piece series, Nami is shown as a burglar who was robbing people to pay off Arlong as a way to get her village free from his reign. She used to steal from ships and pirates and take it back to her village. However, she was never shown doing any burglar stuff in the original anime or manga series. This was not noticed by fans until they saw Emily Rudd doing it in the live-action adaptation.

3. Nami’s Staff Was Different in One Piece Live-Action

One other big change that the creators made to Rudd’s Nami was the staff that she carried in the series. In the original series, it was just an ordinary staff that she used to attack Navy soldiers and was her only choice of weapon at the start of the series until Usopp did his magic on it and made it more accessible and useful for her that it became a part of her identity.
