The world of One Piece is known to be dominated by those who manage to become powerful and are able to overpower their opponents easily. The ones who are at the top are often categorized into a form of powerful group, like the World Government or the Emperors of the Sea.
There are currently four emperors of the sea, with an existence of three former ones being Whitebeard, Big Mom, and Kaidou. The current ones include the names of Luffy, Buggy, Blackbeard, and the Red-Haired pirate, Shanks.
However, the relationship between all these characters is rocky, to say the least, with fights brawling out occasionally between the emperors as well as the former emperors, following is a list of three characters who hate Shanks, followed by three more who love our beloved Red-Haired pirate.

Yonko’s That Hate Shanks In One Piece
As stated earlier, all the sea emperors do not really have a good relationship with each other, and this is something that was more evident in the former Yonkos of the sea. Following is a list of three Yonkos who can not stand the sight of the Red Haired Pirate.
Whitebeard
There is only one rule in the group of Whitebeard pirates, and that is to not kill off another fellow pirate. This is something that was not followed by Marshall D. Teach, or Blackbeard as he killed off Thatch, the 4th Division Commander of the Whitebeard pirates in pursuit of a Devil Fruit.
Whitebeard himself sent Ace on a chase to get back to Blackbeard, but that only resulted in the unfortunate death of Ace. He also hates seeing Shank’s face, as the scar on Shank’s left eye given by none other than Blackbeard reminds him of the betrayal he received from Teach.
Blackbeard
As discussed earlier, Blackbeard and Shanks have some past. The two have engaged in a battle before, causing Marshal D. Teach to inflict a scar on Shank’s face, more precisely on his left eye.
It is a miracle that Blackbeard is even alive considering the fact that he has eaten two devil fruits, making him the only mortal to ever survive after doing so.
Kaidou
While it has been shown before that Kaidou actually respects Shanks, he does hold some grudge against the Red-Haired Pirate as he was stopped by him while Kaidou was about to take down Whitebeard during the Marineford arc.

Yonkos That Love Shanks In One Piece
While the characters above might not exactly be on good terms with Shanks, he still does have some good relationships with other Emperors of the sea, following is a list of such characters.
Luffy
Shanks and Luffy actually have a very wholesome relationship, to say the least, it can be said easily that Shanks was responsible for shaping the Luffy we know today.
The Red-Haired pirate gave up one of his arms in order to protect Luffy when he was a kid and passed down the iconic straw hat to him that we all know today before he departed with a promise to meet again.
Big Mom
Big Mom does not actually hold any real grudge against Shanks. This is due to the fact that she does not care as long as Shanks does not interfere or touch any of her belongings.
Buggy
Even though Buggy has been deceived by Shanks in the past, causing him to hold a grudge eventually, the two actually are wonderful friends. Both of them were former apprentices of none other than Gol. D Roger, and became one of the seven warlords of the sea after the summit war of Marineford. He soon lost the title of the warlord as the system was discontinued, but was handed the title of a Sea Emperor shortly after.
All the characters above were and are a few of the most powerful characters in the whole One Piece franchise, which is what has caused them to get the iconic title of a Sea Emperor, or a Yonko.
