The first season of the series focused on Straw Hats and their adventure on the Grand Line. With the second season being announced officially, fans are wondering which new characters will be added along Luffy’s crew. As per the stories from official sites, a fine character’s addition to the Straw Hats is confirmed.
Chopper
What happens when a Reindeer eats a Hito Hito no mi? Well, Chopper gained powers similar to that of a human. He will be introduced in the Drum Island Arc where Luffy invites him to join Straw Hats as the doctor of the crew. He is an essential character for the story and fans have rather high hopes from Netflix after they nailed every other characters’ representation.

Vivi
Vivi was introduced in the series as an agent of the Baroque Works. Straw Hats decide to help her out after her secret gets exposed. Vivi ends up joining the Straw Hats and after the fall of Crocodile, she stays behind in Arabasta.
Nico Robin
Nico Robin will most probably join the Straw Hats in the second season of Netflix’s One Piece. Fans are quite excited to see how the live-action portrays Nico Robin. She was originally introduced as an agent of the Baroque Works. Considered a threat for the Straw Hats, she ends up becoming a pirate and joins Luffy’s crew as their archaeologist.

Franky
Franky is the seventh member of the Straw Hats and joined the crew as a Shipwright towards the end of the Post-Enies Lobby arc. He was perceived as a villain in the starting, however, he made up for his mistakes and became an ally to the Straw Hats. His dream was to build a ship and traverse all across the world. He constructed an amazing ship for the Straw Hats.
Jinbe
Jinbe joined the Straw Hats as Helmsman and was the ninth member to get aboard. Jinbe was rather determined to become a part of the crew and waited years for that. In the Impel Down Arc, Luffy became friends with Jinbe and invited him during the Fishman Island arc. Jinbe was an ally of the Big Mom Pirates, he promised Luffy to cut ties with her.
