Doomsday: Last Survivors is likely to eat away at your day…

Currently, six games are free on Steam, and some of these games won’t be for many gamers, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t worth it, as they could be your next favourite game. These six games are; Dust And Aliens, Doomsday: Last Survivors, Spiritle, Monster’s Domain, Soccer Kids and finally Swelter. Now these games are quite an interesting bunch, and to encourage you to claim them whilst they are free, I will give some brief descriptions to help entice you into playing them.

Dust and Aliens is a Roguelite futuristic western where you play as a robotic cowboy taking on numerous waves of Aliens fighting to survive and reach the highest score possible whilst gaining numerous boosts to make it easier.

Doomsday: Last Survivors is your standard tower defence game that takes place in a Zombie apocalypse; it has a fast-paced set of gameplay that keeps you interested and has many different game modes to play as you progress through the game.

Spiritle is a fantasy 4-player turn-based strategy game on a digital board; this game has multiple modes for you to play on, some that have you working with your friends and some that pit you against them whilst using the elements to your advantage.

Spiritle is an easy to play, hard to master game with a lot of charm.

Monster’s Domain is a rather interesting one as it takes the usual fantasy setting of an adventurer delving into a dungeon to loot the final rewards, but with a twist of you aren’t the adventurer but the monsters themselves as your job is to defend your loot and kill the adventurers to add to your collection.

Soccer Kids is a turn-based strategy game where you play a group of young kids who are attempting to win a local street Soccer tournament through the use of tactical moves to beat your opponents.

Swelter is the final game that has been released for free and is a community-made mod for Half-Life 2 and is set several years before Half-Life 2 as you explore a post-Soviet Central Asian City as a member of the Resistance dealing with the internal turmoil that is taking place at the time and just like Half-Life 2, there is an FPS aspect to the game and some puzzle solving with some environment moving mechanics involved.
