What Is Happening To Tom Hiddleston’s Loki?

With the concept of timeslipping at hand, the trailer of Loki Season 2 showcased Tom Hiddleston slipping and “glitching” through time. The “glitching” has been seen before but in Sony’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

Several theories and deductions have been made from the trailer of Loki and the theories are indeed quite interesting. The one thing that all the theories have in common is that they all relate to Jonathan Majors’ antagonistic portrayal of Kang the Conqueror. In several Twitter threads, it has been deduced that much like in Into the Spider-Verse movie, the “glitching” that Tom Hiddleston’s Loki experiences is just like what the Spider-people experience in Into the Spider-Verse.

As per the Twitter threads, it seems that Tom Hiddleston’s Loki has also lost his own universe and has been transported into another universe that is not his own. With Jonathan Majors’ He Who Remains meeting Tom Hiddleston’s Loki, it seems that the chaos is going to evolve further in the future.

Allegedly picking up the comics from the year 2015-16, the MCU comics showcased Loki finding unlimited power and trying to destroy Asgard. He accidentally turns up as a hero and the cinematic universe gets a reboot. Arrowverse creator Marc Guggenheim also stated that Kevin Feige is allegedly planning to wipe out the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe with the end of Avengers: Secret Wars.

The MCU Phase 6 movie is currently slated for a release date of 7th May 2027 in theaters across the U.S. As for the Tom Hiddleston starrer, Loki Season 2 is set to release on 6th October 2023 and will be available to stream on Disney+.
