Jujutsu Kaisen has the whole anime fandom on its toes. The fans have mixed emotions regarding the anime right now. Even though the Jujutsu Kaisen anime has been pretty hyped and quite rightly lived up to everyone’s expectations, it is the manga that has the fandom worried. The anime showed the past of Gojo Satoru and his sealing by Kenjaku.
On the other hand, chapter 236 of the manga declares Gojo Satoru dead since he has been sliced in half by Sukuna. Fans have not recovered from the loss of their favorite character, yet another heartbreaking rumor has shattered their hearts. One of the most lovable characters of Jujutsu Kaisen, Megumi Fushiguro, is most likely to die after Gojo Satoru.
Will Megumi Fushiguro Die In Jujutsu Kaisen?
There is no clear way to confirm whether Megumi Fushiguro dies or lives. But everything points in the direction of his death. Gege Akutami, Jujutsu Kaisen creator, once predicted the future of current first-year students of Gojo Satoru. He said that either one of them dies, or everybody dies except for one. This was an eye-opener for the fans.

Nobara Kugisaki and Gojo Satoru are dead. The former’s death has not been confirmed yet, but fans believe that she died since there has been no mention of her for a long time. And now, after Ryomen Sukuna took over Megumi Fushiguro’s body, he has been trying all sorts of methods to kill Megumi’s soul through despair.
Sukuna killed Fushiguro’s sister in front of her, using Fushiguro’s cursed energy. This made him fall into despair. Even though Yuji Itadori could control Sukuna, Megumi has not yet achieved that level. Yuji Itadori is the main character of Jujutsu Kaisen, so it is unlike that he will die.
For the moment, it still remains a rumor since Megumi’s soul is alive. But if Sukuna achieves his strongest form from 1000 years ago, it will be the confirmation that Megumi Fushiguro is dead. For the moment, Yuji Itadori is not strong enough to take on Sukuna. Jujutsu Kaisen has also not revealed any secret method to kill Sukuna and save Megumi.
Everybody is currently waiting for Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 237. The fate of Megumi will be confirmed after its release. The fans are preparing themselves for another heartbreak.
