Suicide Squad Isekai Anime Trailer Showcases DC Comics Villains’ Epic Transformation
Warner Bros. released a trailer for their upcoming anime “Suicide Squad ISEKAI,” featuring DC Comics villains-turned-heroes.
The teaser introduces major characters like Joker, Harley Quinn, Peacemaker, Deadshot, King Shark, Clay Face, and Amanda Waller. While the plot is unclear, the trailer suggests Harley Quinn may be the reason for an adventure to another world. Yet, Deadshot mentions they have a mission, and Amanda Waller threatens to blow their heads off in 60 hours.

The group, behaving like supervillains, fights the world’s inhabitants upon arrival in what seems like a fantasy isekai setting. The trailer is impressive, and the confirmed 2024 release aligns it with other anime like “Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War” part 3 and “Oshi No Ko” season 2.
This collaboration between a Japanese studio and a foreign company is not the first, with Adult Swim and Mappa working on a sci-fi anime, and Netflix and Science SARU releasing “Scott Pilgrim Takes Off.”
