Kanye West’s biggest project comes at a time when his financial situation has taken a hit. His antisemitic remarks resulted in Adidas severing ties with the Homecoming singer. However, his real estate situation is the worst, with several of his ambitious projects stagnating. According to Business Insider, he recently put his Malibu home on the market at a listing price of $53 million, which is lower than the $57.25 million he paid for it.

Reports in March also suggested that his Los Angeles church property now lies abandoned. Daily Mail reported the ruined state of two of his dream properties, the Wyoming Monster Lake Ranch and the Calabasas Ranch. The Wyoming property was planned for a self-sustainable underground community of 200 people, called YZY CITY. He also filed trademark applications for the name Yecosystems, a branded community with homes.
