John Krasinski went from playing Jim in The Office to becoming one of the most successful actor-writer-director of this generation. After finding success with A Quiet Place franchise, which he wrote and directed himself, now Krasinski is back with the movie IF. IF or Imaginary Friend, is the latest movie from his bag of brilliance, which, again, the 44-year-old wrote and directed himself.

The movie has all the who’s who from the industry, starring Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Krasinski himself, alongside his wife, Emily Blunt, and so many others. Cailey Fleming is at the center of the story, who goes on a magical adventure to reconnect people with their imaginary friend who they have lost on their way. The movie recently released its final trailer before premier, and it is a crossover we did not know we needed.
IF Releases A Crossover Trailer That Fans Can’t Get Enough Of
![IF Poster](https://fwmedia.fandomwire.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/13141932/if-movie-poster.jpg)
John Krazinski‘s IF is the story of a young girl who finds out she can see everyone’s imaginary friend. This leads her on a mission to reconnect people with their once lost imaginary pal and brings with it a whole lot of wholesomeness. The movie’s latest trailer sees Krasinski and Cailey Fleming taking auditions of different characters for the role of an IF.
All the characters in the trailer are under the banner of Paramount, and this is like a crossover between all these beloved characters from the studio. If you ever wondered what a Paramount Cinematic Universe would look like, well, you should have a pretty good idea now. And fans seem pretty excited about it, too.

While the majority of the fans are pretty excited to watch the movie, there is one thing they are not too happy about. And that is one character from Paramount Studios, who is missing from this clip.
Fans Unhappy With The Absence of Sonic In The IF Trailer
![IF 2024](https://fwmedia.fandomwire.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/13141927/if-movie-social-featured.jpg)
Audiences seem pretty enthusiastic about the upcoming movie, especially given John Krazinski’s brilliance when it comes to delivering a project. Given he is the writer-director, as well as voiced one of the characters in the movie, the fans are pretty excited to see it. And with the latest trailer clip, while most of them are very happy with it, there is one thing they can not seem to digest.
Sonic is one of the most popular animated characters these days and has spawned a whole franchise with some brilliant movies and an upcoming TV show added to the mix. So when most of the characters under the banner of Paramount were included in this clip, Sonic’s absence did not sit well with a few. Here is what they had to say:
They got Paw patrol but not Sonic😑

It would be cool if Sonic or Knuckles showed up
