Then there was another announcement, which has taken the internet by storm as a collaboration to bring a very well-known character and horror icon into the game. A new collaboration with Konami’s Castlevania has also been announced to be in the works.

If You Thought Dead by Daylight Was Draining Before, Wait Till You See This New Killer

There have been plenty of collaborations between different media franchises and Dead by Daylight, with killers like the xenomorph, Freddy Kreuger, and Nemesis, and now Dracula will enter the fold with the next collaboration with Castlevania.

At the moment, we do not know a lot about this upcoming killer; however, we can assume that this collaboration will only bring the killer Dracula into the game, as it would be rather strange to have members of the Beaumont clan running around fixing generators.

But from what we can see, this new killer will already be a force to be reckoned with, as during the teaser clip that was posted to Twitter/X by the official Dead by Daylight account, we can already see that Dracula will be able to transform into a cloud of bats to likely traverse the land at high speed.

Although it isn’t a confirmed ability, there will likely be a trait that players will be able to equip Dracula with, which could potentially allow them to track blood stains more effectively. Whether this will be a sole skill or usable by everyone would be an interesting sight to see, but for now, this is only a theory, and there is the possibility for so many more skills, but we won’t get any further information until August 6th.

Dracula May Not Be the Only Thing From Castlevania That Might Be Making Its Way Into the Game

Castlevania is only one of the many collaborations we are getting in Dead by Daylight.

Usually, when we get a collaboration like this, there is always the opportunity for extra content to come to the game that aligns with the characters. If Behaviour Interactive, the developers behind Dead by Daylight, follows this pattern, then there is a chance we could be looking at even more content coming to the game.

For example, along with such an iconic horror character as Dracula, we could also be seeing his nightmarish castle making its way into the game, and if it is based on the Castlevania games, there is the opportunity for all kinds of mischief, like altering hallways, ghastly picture frames, ghouls and ghosts around every corner, and so on.

Along with the horrifying new location we could be visiting, it is also likely that we will be getting some rather iconic cosmetics for this new killer, as there have been different variations of the character through both folklore and the game franchise itself, allowing the character to have many different possibilities.

What do you think about Castlevania making its way onto Dead by Daylight? Are you excited to be a creature of the night? Let us know in the comments what you think!
