Since rising to prominence back in 2016, Gaten Matarazzo has always been adamant about having a positive impact on his audience. This was reflected when the actor decided that whenever a fan would stop him and ask to take a picture with them, “I will ask them to take a picture with me” to showcase how much they mean to him.
Recently, when a fan approached him, even though the person couldn’t recall the actor’s name and referred to Matarazzo as his Stranger Things counterpart, he was still chill about it, asking “How are you”. Gaten Matarazzo on His Fear of Stranger Things Ending
With Stranger Things set to wrap up with its fifth and final season, which kickstarted back in 2016, Gaten Matarazzo expressed that it’s a bittersweet experience.
While on one side, he is excited for the characters to undergo one last development before concluding their journeys, he also has a deep fear of the show ending. Considering the actor has been part of the Netflix show since he was 13 and “It’s been pretty great job security for a while”, the actor has a fear of getting back to freelance after the show concludes.

It’s reasonable to see why this might be a scary experience for the actor, as Stranger Things has been a constant in his life since he was a kid. But fans will hope his portrayal of Dustin Henderson isn’t the last of the Honor Society star in the limelight and he continues his ascend to the top post the acclaimed Netflix show.
