In the past few years, Invincible has elevated the superhero genre as the animated TV Series has decided to take a different approach from Marvel and DC animated shows. The series features memorable characters such as Omni Man, Invincible, Atom Eve, Allen the Alien, and many more. Moreover, the show makes the plot interesting with an engrossing storyline.
However, there has been a perpetual argument over Atom Eve never reaching her full potential as fans have been pointing out how the character has been nerfed over a frivolous reason. Fans have been pointing out this issue as she has showcased the ability to be one of the strongest characters in the series, as they point out various instances from the show.
Atom Eve Gets Nerfed Over The Stupidest Reason Ever
Robert Kirkman’s Invincible contains numerous homages to the Marvel and DC superheroes, but one of the most annoying things about the animated series is how much it exaggerates the action, making an easy battle look as if the fate of the universe is at stake.
It is one of those shows that glorifies its protagonist, Mark Grayson also known as Invincible, which means bad news for side characters like Atom Eve who is shown as an insignificant character in the show. This notion started circulating among the fans after they never got to see Eve’s full potential.
The topic was further discussed in r/Invincible, a subreddit for everything related to Kirkman’s animated superhero show. A fan (Special_Elevator_603) pointed out the issue, how Kirkman has “clearly struggled” to handle Eve’s powers because despite having mental blocks, she can be stronger than our main character.
The fan further elaborated on how Eve could have used her Subatomic Manipulation powers in more effective ways. Instead, she settled for “just being a pink Green Lantern,” they gave instances of how she can change air into poison and recreate Robot’s armor’s super strong material.
They continued how she has “full access to her powers in high stress situations,” but does not use them in the “best way possible.” By pointing out various instances from the series like the fight with Conquest, when she revived Mark Grayson and made him stronger but not the strongest, or how she can not remove her mental blocks if she “has full access to her powers?”
One may ask why, but the fan has explained that it all boils down to one solid reason “she’s too OP and the story still needs some dramatic tension.” Sadly, the series can not show her true powers because, then, the story has to be written with a different creative approach.
Fans Troll The Atom Eve For Being TOO OP
Indeed, fans of the show are dissatisfied over how Robert Kirkman has toned down Eve’s powers without removing any of her powers. As a result, fans are dissatisfied because the explanation makes sense. After all, the character is too overpowered, but she has possibly the worst battle IQ in comparison to all of the superheroes presented in the show.
The fans come forward to the post, trolling the character and if there were better options to handle her superpowers.

Well, it looks like Kirkman has clearly struggled to write a better story for Eve since the fan points out how she could have had a breakthrough in the story but getting debuffed with a bizarre reason, makes fans dissatisfied.
Invincible can be streamed on Amazon Prime Studios.
