Star Wars fans have a brand new game in town to look forward to. Star Wars: Hunters was just released on the 4th of June, for iOS, Android, and the Nintendo Switch.
Developed by Zynga, it’s a free-to-play PvP mobile game that’s set between Episodes VI and VII and features a wide range of characters and locations from the lore.
The Artistic Style of Star Wars: Hunters
The official X account of Zynga shared a video of the 3D art of the game, and it looks pretty great. Not much information was shared about how to view it, but it seems like an AR app was used to view the mural-like art on the side of a building.

The game has some really good art direction for a mobile game. Every character and environment is crafted with a high attention to detail. Whether you’re exploring the streets of Coruscant or engaging in battles on the desert planet of Tatooine, the visuals in the game transport you right into the world from the movies.
But what sets this game apart from other games in the franchise is its unique art style. It’s like a fusion of classic aesthetics with a modern, kid-friendly twist that feels fresh. From the sleek armor of Mandalorian warriors to the rugged landscapes of remote planets, the artwork in this game definitely stands out. The forests feel lush, and the ice-covered planets have a certain cozy vibe too.
