In an interview with Crème Magazine (via Far Out Magazine), he recalled,
I had a stalker while filming a movie in Spain last year. She stood outside of my apartment every day for weeks — all day, every day. I was so bored and lonely that I went out and had dinner with her.
However, as he also revealed to David Letterman in an old interview, the fan was taken aback after finding out Pattinson wasn’t the person she had been imagining him as in her head.
I kind of complained about everything in my life for about two hours, and then she gave me the bill at the end. I had to pay for it, and then she was never back outside my apartment ever again.
While his fan expected it to be a fun date, it ended up becoming a therapy session for Pattinson, as well as the fan since Pattinson got cured of his loneliness and the fan got cured of her obsession with the Twilight star. So while Pattinson certainly enjoyed ranting to his obsessive fan, the stalker got a lesson for life!
