Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions is shaping up to be a game that fans have been eagerly waiting for. Warner Bros. Games recently unveiled the official trailer, which showcased a fast-paced, sports-like action, and introduced some highly requested features that have made the community very happy.
The game will release on the 3rd of September, and has a lot planned, including a Season 0 titledQuidditch Tryouts, a Hogwarts Legacy-themed event in September, and a Halloween event in October.
Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions Has Exciting Events Coming Up
The developers of the game have also teased a 6v6 PVP mode for the Nintendo Switch, which has been a top request from players.
The upcoming game will be packed with content right from the start. In September 2024, players can look forward to a Hogwarts Legacy crossover event, followed by a Halloween event in October, which will be pretty exciting for the players.
Season 1, titled Defence Against the Dark Arts, is scheduled to begin in Winter 2024 and will bring even more magical experiences with events like Holiday at Hogwarts and Yule Ball.
Fans of the series will also be thrilled to see that they can play as iconic characters such as Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Ginny Weasley, and Draco Malfoy, bringing the world of the movies to life.
The game offers various modes, including a single-player career mode, competitive multiplayer, and online co-op. Players can take on the roles of Beaters, Chasers, Keepers, or Seekers and compete in legendary arenas like the Weasley Burrow and the Quidditch World Cup.
For those who already own Hogwarts Legacy, there’s a special gift which is a Bonus Legacy Pack that will be available when they download Quidditch Champions and connect to their WB Games account.
A Highly Anticipated Release for Harry Potter Fans
Warner Bros. Games has also confirmed that Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions will be available on multiple platforms, with a digital release set for September 4, 2024, on Xbox, PC, and PlayStation.
There’s also a physical edition for consoles like the Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5, which will be released on November 8, 2024. The Nintendo Switch version will be arriving a bit later, during the holiday season, making it the perfect addition to gamers’ holiday gaming lineup.
PlayStation Plus members will be especially pleased since the game will be available at no extra charge as a Monthly Game from September 3 to September 30.
With a price tag of $29.99 for the Digital Standard Edition and $39.99 for the Deluxe Edition, fans will have the option to choose the edition that they prefer.
The developers’ dedication to listening to and incorporating fan feedback and delivering an authentic Quidditch experience is evident in the features and events they’ve packed into the game.
However, there has been quite some criticism from fans due to the decision to have three Bot/AI players in each 6v6 matchup on both teams, meaning only three players on each time will be controlled by other players.
