However, according to Samuel L. Jackson, who portrayed the character in the franchise, Windu’s journey is far from concluded. In a conversation with Empire Magazine, celebrating 25 years of the Star Wars prequels, the actor emphatically asserted, “HE’S NOT DEAD!!!”

When asked about the possibility of reprising his role and what he would do in a potential spin-off series focusing on the Jedi master, he further fueled the excitement, saying, “EVERYTHING YES!!” Jackson was last seen portraying the character in the 2005 film Revenge of the Sith.
