Looks like Emerald Fennell wants to make one of the most bizarre films ever. The filmmaker who won an Oscar for Best Screenplay in her debut now wants to make an erotic Jurassic Park movie. According to the Barbie actress, she wants to make an erotic movie featuring the marital life of a man and a velociraptor.
To date, we have got a wide range of movies. Over the last few years, we have seen some unique ventures and also saw how the audiences’ tastes have also changed and evolved. However, Emerald Fennell wants her name inscribed in the history of Cinema as she pitches the idea for an erotic Human-Dinosaur love story.

A different kind of Jurassic Park is being planned by Emerald Fennell
Emerald Fennell had an electrifying feature directorial debut with 2020’s Promising Young Woman. The Carey Mulligan film, produced by Margot Robbie was critically acclaimed and went on to receive an Oscar for Best Screenplay. Following that, the actress and filmmaker has played some minor roles in movies and TV series including the role of Midge in Robbie’s 2023 hit Barbie.
Currently, she can be spotted promoting her latest flick Saltburn starring Barry Keoghan and Jacob Elordi in the lead. Something very interesting came from one of these promotions when Emerald Fennell talked with Deadline recently. As she discussed her dreams and the projects she wanted to be a part of, the 38-year-old also expressed her interest in making an erotic Jurassic Park movie.
Speaking about her dream project, Emerald Fennell said that she has been lucky to already make her dream projects. However, she caught her fans off guard after expressing her interest in making a human-velociraptor love story in the future- “So, there’s a marriage between a man and a velociraptor and it’s basically a domestic drama.”
It can’t be denied that the movie can raise a lot of hype if it’s greenlit once. On top of that, with the filmmaker’s promise of making it more erotic, we can do nothing but wonder how much of a wild ride it will be “But my favorite film of all time is Jurassic Park, so I would love to get in on the dinosaurs. Well, first and foremost, it’s very erotic”.

Can we get an erotic Jurassic Park movie in the future?
The Jurassic Park franchise saw its last movie of the franchise with Jurassic World: Dominion, which was released last year. It concluded the second trilogy of the film series with amazing box office numbers. But it was a big mess on the critical side as the movie received a negative reception from critics worldwide who didn’t reciprocate to the $1 billion+ box office figure.
Even though the sixth movie didn’t close the gates of the future, producer Frank Marshall has admitted that they are taking a temporary halt for the moment- “We’re going to sit down, and we’re going to see what the future is.” (via /Film).
Despite sounding bizarre and funny, Emerald Fennell’s take on the franchise is a wild one and can provide a unique experience to the audience if it comes to fruition. It will also let us see Fennell’s skills as a director in a very different type of movie. The director’s latest Saltburn also garnered amazing responses for its technicalities, though the screenplay received highly mixed reactions.
