Tom Holland Puts An End to Zendaya Breakup Rumors
Tom Holland’s reel-life relationship with Zendaya slowly transitioned into real life, and the pair have been frequently seen spending time with each other from time to time. Zendaya recently surprised fans when she unfollowed everyone on her Instagram, including Holland. This led to speculation that the couple had broken up due to some conflict.
Now, Holland has clarified that this isn’t the case. When TMZ asked the actor about the rumors, Holland directly stated, “No, absolutely not.” Fans can now heave a sigh of relief as there is no animosity between the couple, and they are indeed going strong.
Zendaya recently promoted her upcoming film Challengers on her Instagram and has started promotions for Dune: Part 2. She has a busy 2024, and this explains why the pair hasn’t been seen together for some time now. Holland also seems to be taking some time off from work and enjoying some personal time with family.
Tom Holland Wants to Commit to Uncomfortable Roles Outside of Spider-Man
Tom Holland stepped out of his comfort zone and portrayed an extremely complex and emotionally vulnerable role in The Crowded Room. This was a departure from his usual action-oriented roles, and the actor had to sink his teeth and commit to the complexity of his character Danny Sullivan.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the actor stated that he further wants to commit to such roles and challenge himself as an actor. While Spider-Man has brought him fame and recognition as a movie star, he also wants to do character-driven roles that showcase his acting talents. He said,
“I want to do things that scare me, things that make me uncomfortable. When you do what we do, you have to be comfortable with being uncomfortable. I got so used to the Marvel machine and the safety blanket of Spider-Man, feeling like I was protected.
So, doing something like this was incredibly scary, but because it was so scary, it was so fulfilling and so rewarding. Going forward, if there’s something that I feel like I can’t do, I want to do that one.”
Holland has not announced any new projects, and he is probably taking some time off from acting. The actor is expected to return in the sequel to Uncharted and Spider-Man 4 sometime in the future.
