HBO’s House of the Dragon returned for Season 2 in the most dramatic way, and what’s more theatrical than seeing a giant dragon snuggled at the Empire State Building? New Yorkers were amused after spotting a replica of Vhagar, the queen of all dragons, atop the architecture.

The 270-foot inflatable dragon clutched at the building’s spire 102 storeys above midtown Manhattan as part of the series promotion. Of course, fans got a photo-op with Vhagar, and the prices for the experience cost $46 for adults and $40 for kids.

Vhagar stayed on top of the building for ten days, which was enough to draw the attention of fans through widespread news on social media. Season 2 successfully debuted on Sunday and has since become the talk of the town again.

After this, Illumination’s Despicable Me 4 conquered London after Gru’s scarf was spotted at the Tower Bridge. The said black-and-gray shawl was wrapped around the building. As expected, it drew a lot of attention from passersby.

Carell reflects on his role as Gru and admits the new plot somehow resonates with him. He told Today:

I think the things that align with me in terms of Gru are the fact that all he cares about is being a good dad, and I think that reflects who I am.

The actor says his character is a good role model because “he’s a good dad, and he is incredibly committed to his kids.” He later on gave examples of his own personal stories of being a father.
