The trend of anime live-action is following up faster after One Piece Live Action’s global success. It has been definitely an upgrade in this genre, considering that simultaneous flops were coming out of this genre. Netflix, which produced One Piece Live Action and is on the verge of releasing Yu Yu Hakusho Live Action, also failed miserably with Death Note and Cowboy Bebop.
But once One Piece showed the path, the trend has been catching on. More people are willing to venture into this genre, and the fans are also enjoying it. After the success of One Piece and the Naruto Live Action in the works, another anime will soon be adapted into a live-action movie. The anime is none other than Origin.
Origin Will Follow One Piece Live Action’s Path
Origin is a manga written and illustrated by South Korean manga artist Boichi. The manga ran from September 5, 2016, to February 9, 2019. Kodansha USA held the publishing rights to the manga, and the story follows the Seinen demography. Origin belongs to the science fiction and action fiction genre. Even though Boichi’s story did not get an anime adaptation, it will soon be getting adapted into an anime live adaptation.

The story revolves around a mysterious entity named Origin, who protects humankind from dark mysterious things that kill humans at night. The story takes place in 2048 in a futuristic Japan where there are robots and advanced technologies.
The news has been confirmed that it will be a Hollywood live-action movie. The news is all over social media. It is great to see more and more anime live adaptations happening. Boichi is a great mangaka, and his detailing is mind-blowing. There has been no news on whether Boichi will be present with the filming team. Since Eiichiro Oda has shown that being present has helped One Piece Live Action with several things, Boichi can also take up the same role.

For the moment, the dates are yet to be announced for its release. While the talks have been finalized the cast members are yet to be revealed. Origin could be a revolution in the anime live adaptation genre with its unique plot.
