After No Way Home’s Tragic Finale, Daredevil and Ant-Man May Be Peter Parker’s Only Saviors in MCU

SUMMARY

  • After the tragic finale of No Way Home, with everything changing for Peter Parker, seeking help is another thing that becomes rather difficult for him.
  • That's where we believe New York-based superhero Matt Murdock, aka Daredevil could be his trusted ally.
  • Further, the only Avenger who can help Peter Parker is Ant-Man, since he wasn't affected by Doctor Strange’s spell, as he was in the quantum realm.

The young and relatable character of Spider-Man has always been the most favored superhero in the MCU. Perhaps it’s the only reason why the standalone Spider-Man movies have always performed well in theatres. Currently, with Tom Holland being the face of the web-slinger, fans are invested in the character’s future after Spider-Man: No Way Home

Considering the tragic finale of No Way Home, where Doctor Strange cast his spell making everyone on Earth forget who Peter Parker is, but remember Spider-Man, fans wonder where Peter might go in case of emergency. Since he can’t always disturb the Avengers, we believe there are only two superheroes who can help the web-slinger in MCU.

Daredevil Could be Peter Parker’s Trusted Ally

Peter Parker is the youngest superhero in the MCU, which makes him all the more adored and favored in the Marvel Universe. But unfortunately, due to his young age, recklessness, and lack of experience, he often finds himself stuck in need of help from his fellow superheroes. But considering the fact that he can’t always bug the Avengers, we believe Peter needs an ally in New York.

Who could be a better friend for Peter Parker than Daredevil? Considering the fact that Peter met Matt Murdock in Spider-Man: No Way Home, makes it even more easy for him to contact the superhero when stuck in need of help. Although Matt’s appearance in No Way Home occurs spontaneously, we believe Peter will eventually discover Matt Murdock’s superhero identity as Daredevil.

Further, Daredevil is also considered a favorable superhero for Peter Parker since he isn’t a part of the Avengers. This suits Spider-Man well because if, in need, he won’t have to bother the Avengers for their help, as the Avengers only contact when either of the superheroes need each other’s help to save the world.

Ant-Man Might be Peter Parker’s Savior After No Way Home

While we are considering allies for Spider-Man in MCU, we believe there’s one Avenger who can help Peter Parker in case he needs to be saved. This is where Ant-Man comes in line. He is the only Avenger who wasn’t on the Earth at the time of Spider-Man: No Way Home. Apparently, in the timeline when the last Spider-Man movie took place, Ant-Man was in the quantum realm.

Ant-Man being in the quantum realm might not directly help Peter Parker, but since he wasn’t on Earth, Doctor Strange’s spell did not affect him. To elaborate – by the end of No Way Home, Doctor Strange cast his spell on the Earth, making everyone forget who Peter Parker is, but remember Spider-Man. Now since Ant-Man was in the quantum realm, it didn’t affect him.

The spell was simply bound for Earth, not other dimensions. Therefore, it saved Ant-Man from getting affected by the spell, leading him to remember perfectly well who Peter Parker is. Further, being the only Avenger who can help Spider-Man in MCU, Ant-Man could be Peter’s entry point into the big leagues like the Avengers, if and when necessary.
