Alan Wake 2 Night Springs DLC to feature an Easter egg
As the title of Alan Wake 2’s upcoming DLC already implies, fans of the Remedy Connected Universe can expect to see some crossover between franchises in Night Springs. This is because fans will remember that several Remedy games feature the TV series Night Springs.
Players will remember a few TVs in the first Alan Wake game air a paranormal horror series called Night Springs. In the Night Springs show, the protagonist battles mystical forces in every episode, and from what it seems, the show might be a few years old.
Players will also recall that the Night Springs show also appears in Quantum Break. Even though the game isn’t formally a part of the Remedy Connected Universe, it’s still a great Easter egg.
Moreover, in Control players will remember a “Television Proposal” document which talks about presenting supernatural themes via fictional entertainment. The document also suggests that the Night Springs show should be restarted. Therefore, fans in the upcoming DLC might also get to know more about the fate of the series.
With all these things hinting at an exceptional collaboration between different games under Remedy Entertainment, this is something new for the fans and they have to wait for the DLC to come out to know more about it.
What can fans expect from the Night Springs DLC?

According to a previous announcement by the developers, via IGN, the Night Springs DLC has a release window of late Spring 2024. The is may however change in due course of time according to Remedy. During this, the developers have also confirmed the second DLC of the game titled Lake House.
