But fans of the star are not too pleased with the way his role has shaped up in the show.

To rub further salt to the wound, the Big Little Lies actor is killed off in the opening scene of the episode which has his fan base crying foul and expressing their disappointment at their favorite star being denied more screen time. Some viewers though, are seeing the funny side of it by stating that it worked perfectly with the treatment of Skarsgård‘s characters thus far. Others are just happy to be able to feast on the actor albeit for a few minutes.

While netizens are well within their rights to question the logic behind casting a high-profile star like Skarsgård only to send him packing within the first few minutes, a report in Screen Rant does not discount the possibility of the character coming back in the form of flashbacks in the show, based on the popularity of the actor.
