Amazon’s Mr. and Mrs. Smith brought back memories of the 2005 film of the same name starring Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie in the leading roles. The duo did not make an appearance in the TV series, as the reimagined show featured an entirely new cast with Donald Glover and Maya Erskine taking on the lead role of John and Jane, respectively.
The spy comedy series features an ensemble cast of A-listers including the lead actors. Before we dive into A-listers’ cameos of the show, here’s a brief about the lead stars.
Lead Actors of Mr. and Mrs. Smith Show
Back in 2021, the creation of this show was announced, originally starring Donald Glover and Phoebe Waller-Bridge. However, the same year, Waller-Bridge left the project due to creative differences with her co-star. The next year, Maya Erskine stepped in to take over the Killing Eve star’s role.
Glover is a jack of all cards as he is an actor, comedian, singer, rapper, writer, director, and producer. He has come a long way from having his kickstart as a writer in NBC’s 30 Rock to honing his acting and direction skills in Atlanta.
He also appeared in big-budget projects like Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017), and Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018). He provided the voice of adult Simba in The Lion King (2019). John Turturro

Parker Posey in Mr. & Mrs. Smith
The Queen of Indies, Parker Posey, plays the role of one of the Other Jane Smith (on-screen wife of Moura’s character) in Season 1. With her work in indie projects and other mainstream titles, she has solidified herself among the talented stars in the industry.
