Fans speculate that he has been cast as Nova in the MCU.
Henry Cavill Is Rumored To Be Cast As Wolverine In The MCU

According to Giant Freakin Robot, the Argylle star has been rumored to be cast as a multiversal variant of Wolverine in the upcoming Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman starrer Deadpool & Wolverine. The site mentioned that the news was confirmed by an insider who had previously leaked that Linda Cardellini would be voicing Lyla in Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol.3. Cavill will reportedly show up in a long brown coat in the film.
The actor has been long rumored to have been in talks with Marvel for making an appearance.
