Out of all the upcoming movies and series, there’s one project that the Marvel boss is extremely excited about – The Fantastic Four. Not to be unfair, though, because he also mentioned being enthusiastic about the other projects.

Kevin Feige Highlights The Fantastic Four In New Marvel Podcast

There’s no better way to introduce the new studio initiative, The Official Marvel Podcast, than by having the President of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige on its first episode. As he talked about the upcoming MCU projects, he was asked which one he was excited about the most.

Well, you know, the corporate answer is: they’re all our babies and we love them all equally. And I’m very excited for Deadpool & Wolverine, and then Agatha All Along, and Captain America: Brave New World, and Thunderbolts with an asterisk, and the new Daredevil. And that’s true.

Marvel Studios made some reflections and took a step back over the past year after it suffered from profit loss due to several box office flops. This time, they are promising less content but guaranteed quality. Feige continued, “If you want the real answer – if we’re trying to get real on this podcast, the answer is The Fantastic Four.”

The reboot of the Fantastic Four franchise was reported back in 2022, and after a long time of searching, the official cast has been finally announced. Feige shared in the podcast that the filming for the movie will commence the day after Comic Con, which is at the end of July.

I’m extremely excited by it, because I think those characters are mainstays, are legendary pillars of the Marvel Universe that we’ve never got to play with or explore in any significant way.

With his statement on The Fantastic Four, fans are certainly looking forward to it as it seems to be one of the biggest MCU projects to date after the highly successful Avengers: Endgame franchise.

Kevin Feige Teases Deadpool & Wolverine, Praises Ryan Reynolds And Hugh Jackman’s Friendship

Even though Kevin Feige particularly highlighted The Fantastic Four in his interview, it does not mean he’s less excited about Ryan ReynoldsDeadpool & Wolverine. In fact, he described it in the podcast as “many dreams coming true at once.”

The movie is almost around the corner, and it is shockingly the only MCU movie of the year. Despite so, Reynolds and Hugh Jackman’s much-anticipated team-up will surely make up for it.

Feige said that the duo developed a real-life friendship and a “fun kind of social media rivalry, so it’s fun seeing them together in a movie. It’s gonna be amazing.”

The Fantastic Four still has over a year before its release in 2025, while Deadpool & Wolverine hits cinemas on July 26.
