The MCU has been going through a creative upheaval as several projects have been postponed to improve the quality of the MCU’s future projects. Kevin Feige is not taking things easily anymore and he wants every Marvel Studios project to be the best version of itself. He is also not compromising any resources and is destined to make it happen.
These changes can be seen in the creative overhaul and upcoming reshoots of Charlie Cox’s Daredevil: Born Again and Anthony Mackie’s Captain America: Brave New World. Now, reports of other new MCU shows going through reshoots are coming online, further solidifying the fact that Feige is now hands-on in every project.
Ironheart and Agatha: Darkhold Diaries Reportedly Set For Reshoots This Year
Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios seem to be learning from the underwhelming response from fans in the past two years regarding their projects. Instead of their quantity over quality approach, they are now striving to do the opposite with their upcoming MCU projects. In addition to Anthony Mackie‘s Captain America 4, the studio is planning reshoots for two upcoming shows Ironheart and Agatha: Darkhold Diaries.
Despite lead star Dominique Thorne telling Deadline earlier this year that filming on the Ironheart series is over, popular scooper Daniel Richtman reported last month that the series is set to undergo extensive reshoots this year (via X). Richtman also claimed that the MCU show is not releasing this year as planned.
This lines up with what The Hollywood Reporter put up last September. THR wrote that although principal photography finished in 2022, the completion of the overall production of the series was affected and incomplete due to the strikes. Similarly. the Kathryn Hahn-led series Agatha: Darkhold Diaries is set to undergo reshoots this year after principal photography ended last May.
Hahn told The Hollywood Reporter earlier this year that a few days of reshoots are left of the series. The MCU series is expected to release in late 2024. Marvel is taking extra precautions to improve their output and not just releasing many things in a year, which has led to their downfall these past two years.

Daredevil Born: Again Set Photos Confirm Returning Characters
Various reports started surfacing in the past few days that Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson would reprise their roles from the original Daredevil series for the upcoming Daredevil: Born Again. Now the news has become official as the two actors are seen alongside Charlie Cox in various set photos and videos that have circulated as production resumed for the upcoming MCU series (via ComicbookMovie.com).
The series has undergone a huge creative overhaul as new directors and a showrunner were added to the show. With many returning characters from the original series, it looks like the new series will be a direct continuation of how season 3 left off and Daredevil’s appearances in the MCU. It remains to be seen how Kingpin and Matt Murdock’s narrative fit in the whole spectrum of the MCU once the series premiers on Disney+ next year.
