There is a lot of buzz surrounding Anthony Mackie’s upcoming first solo superhero Marvel movie, Captain America 4. Amid this buzz, there has also been a lot of speculation followed by rumors, along with reports that the film has faced multiple, multiple reshoots. Of course, all of this has fans all confused about what they can actually expect to see in the 2025 scheduled movie.

Despite this, this game of reports popping up every now and then about further updates on the movie is far from ended. This comes after one latest report claims that apparentlyCaptain America: Brave New World would be revisiting one major and still unanswered plot hole from one of the worst-rated films from the Marvel Cinematic Universe: Eternals.

Anthony Mackie’s Captain America 4 is Adapting an Eternals Plothole?

As all of those die-hard fans must already know, 2021’s action/fantasy Eternals may be one of the worst-reviewed movies in the history of Marvel, but it has also left behind some critical plotholes that are yet to be completely answered by the MCU. Like the half-awaken giant.

Or, to put it more simply, the Celestial Tiamut the Communicator, who had a part of his head and one of his hands sticking out of the face of the Earth before he was turned into stone by Sersi and prevented from completely emerging and putting an end to the planet.

However, surprisingly enough, that was the first and last appearance of that partially-sticking-out-of-the-earth giant. As it turns out, none of the seven movies released after the 2021 film from Phase Four and Five of Marvel’s Multiverse Saga even hint about this, let alone explain it.

But that seems to be about to change with the release of the new Captain America’s first solo movie, Brave New World. This comes after one fan (@joerussotweets) complained on X how all the other MCU movies ignored this very plothole.

Replying to them and answering their question if Deadpool & Wolverine will also take the same course in this matter, @MyTimeToShineH on X reportedly claimed that Mackie’s first solo superhero film for the Marvel will reportedly be one “where the giant is the main plot.”

Thus, considering this report, it seems like the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s upcoming film starring Anthony Mackie in the lead just might end up not only bringing up this unanswered plot hole from the 2021 movie but also explaining the entire mystery surrounding it.

Fans React to This Captain America 4 Report

While this should come as good news to all those fans who had been curious to the core about what happens to this particular partially visible Celestial being, fans seem to have varied reactions to this report about Captain America: Brave New World.

If anything, they’re pointing out how unbalanced this entire situation would seem if this next movie in Steve Roger’s iconic saga actually explains it all because of the entire gap that has been between the 2021 film and the 2025 scheduled film, which was notably filled with other movies from the MCU.

All in all, here’s how they’re reacting to this news on X:

With all of this having been said, it seems like the Marvel Cinematic Universe will have to do more than just randomly revisit this plothole in an upcoming movie to answer all of those unanswered questions — that is, if these reports are indeed true.
