In a conversation with actor Karl Urban for Amazon Prime Video, The Boys star Antony Starr revealed earlier this year that he never planned on becoming an actor,

“I never wanted to be an actor, I didn’t know about the film industry. I’m still trying to figure out what I’m gonna do when I grow up.”

Before The Boys, Starr appeared in various movies and TV shows like Mercy Peak, Banshee, Rush, American Gothic, and Wish You Were Here. With the role of Homelander in The Boys, Starr became a household name around the world.
