Arrowhead has offered players a decent selection of weapons, to take on the interstellar fight. While these weapons are good with the aliens, they do not come with infinite ammo. Moreover, when you reload them, the reload animation starts, which takes up your precious time.

While reloading weapons and reloading animations are frustrating, Helldivers 2 offers an alternative. The Las-99 Quasar Cannon and the LAS-16 Sickle are the weapons for those who are tired of reloading their weapons.

The LAS-16 Sickle may not be the best weapon in the game. However, teaming it with the Quasar Cannon makes it a deadly combo.

Since the Quasar Cannon is an energy weapon, it has ‘infinite ammo’. The weapon was introduced on March 28. This weapon works best when it comes to the big guys. Enemies like Bile Spewers, Brood Commanders, and Chargers can be blasted with a single shot. While some heavyweights like Bile Titans, Hulks, and Devastators need one or two more shots.

Quasar Cannon, however, does have a drawback. It has an overheating mechanism and has a cooldown time of a few seconds (6-10 seconds) after each shot. This is where the LAS-16 Sickle comes to the rescue.

The Sickle also has an overheating mechanism, however, when maxed out, it only requires a new energy cell to get back into the action. Players can, therefore, swap to the Sickle when the Quasar Cannon is in its cooldown face, and then get back to it, when the Sickle is about to overheat.

Using this combo, players don’t have to keep their eyes on monitoring their ammo and can take down the Automatons with democratic prejudice.

Helldivers 2 gets Premium Warbond Democratic Detonation

Helldivers 2 recently got its Premium Warbond Democratic Detonation on April 11. The Premium Warbond is priced at $10/1000 Supercredits. The PlayStation Blog states, “The time for stealth is over.” This Warbond is about blowing things with explosives.

After this Warbond, new weapons were added, like the CB-9 Exploding Crossbow, G-123 Thermite Grenade, and the CE-07 Demolition Specialist armor. This will further help in the fight against the Automatons and the Terminids.

As a piece of good news, unlike games with timed battle passes, the Premium Warbond in Helldivers 2 will be added to the player’s account permanently, and they can unlock and use the weapons at their leisure.
