One of the biggest franchises in the world may have just had a major leak, as the main menu for Assassin’s Creed Red appears to have surfaced on Twitter/X. However, after a short period, it was removed from the website, leaving fans to wonder what secrets the post held.
Luckily, one Reddit user took a screenshot of the leak and has shared it, allowing us to see all the information that has been leaked, like a potential demo, quality and performance modes, and even a season selector, which all hints towards the game being closer to release than we originally thought.

From what we can see on the leaked image regarding Assassin’s Creed Red, there is a lot of new and exciting information teased. It seems the game is near completion and is likely set for release sometime this year.

The main piece of information that may have confused a lot of gamers is the fact that a “Play Demo” option is available within the main menu. For many gamers, this would suggest that a playable demo would be available to try, but this could indicate a potential gameplay showcase coming soon from the development team, rather than a traditional player demo.
Since there is a playable build of the title available, there is still a small chance we could receive a playable demo for Assassin’s Creed Red, especially since demos are becoming even more popular at the moment.
Assassin’s Creed Red May Have a Few Quality of Life Improvements
As stated above, there are plenty of different features that have been revealed thanks to this developer kit being leaked to the public. Some of these features are something fans are always asking for in terms of quality of life within a game.
One of the main quality of life features that will be available within Assassin’s Creed Red is that players will be able to change the game from quality to performance mode. Unfortunately, since the developer kit is set in quality mode, we can only see the specs for that. The game is set at 30 FPS and 1800P, which is described as “Xbox Series X Quality” on the kit.
Along with this feature, players will also be provided with a season selector. At first glance, most gamers believe this would change what seasons of the year the game is set in, such as winter, summer, and so on. But in fact, this will allow players to change what seasonal content will be in the game as Assassin’s Creed Red is supposedly a live-service game and will have seasonal content after release.
