One of the many controversial aspects of the Suicide Squad game by Rocksteady Studios is how it handles the eventual fate of the beloved DC character Batman. Many fans of The Dark Knight expressed their frustration with how disrespectfully Kill the Justice League treats him, and although his ending was clearly hinted at from the title of the game, the way it’s executed doesn’t sit right with the community.

However, for those looking to experience better Gotham stories, Warner Bros. Games is celebrating Bruce Wayne’s birthday week with an extraordinary sale on Steam, which includes plenty of video games that feature The Caped Crusader at massive discounts.

Although it is still not exactly clear whether Bruce Wayne was canonically born on April 7 or February 19, Warner Bros. Games is celebrating as per the latter date in a way worthy of the iconic character. Calling the campaign Bruce Wayne’s Birthday Sale on Steam, WB has chopped down the prices for numerous video games featuring Batman, giving fans a chance to take a much-needed detour from Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.

These include Rocksteady’s previous well-received titles from the excellent Arkham trilogy, along with the character’s other appearances, like the Injustice games.

It is important to note that since Bruce Wayne’s birthday took place two days ago, the sale on Steam is only scheduled for the week following it, as the limited-time offer is going to end on February 26. The biggest standout discounts of the campaign are definitely related to the Batman: Arkham games, as the entire Collection is available at 85% off for just $8.99 instead of the usual $60.

If one already has a title or two from the original Arkhamverse, the games can be bought individually at discounted prices as well, so this seems like the perfect time to experience the whole story that is adored by both critics and fans alike.

Even Gotham Knights Joins in on the Celebrations

Gotham Knights may have been panned by the masses, but after the latest effort by Rocksteady Studios, it has started to feel a little better than fans originally thought. Everything related to the title, including the base game, the Deluxe Edition, and the DLC, is available at 80% off.

That is not where the celebrations end, though, as the brutal Mortal Kombat-esque Injustice games can be bought for extremely cheap prices as well.

LEGO enthusiasts are in luck too because the campaign includes plenty of LEGO Batman content, such as the Trilogy Pack, which is 90% off. And finally, the discounts end with an unconventional DC adventure called Scribblenauts Unmasked, which can be bought at a 75% discount.
