Cavill explained how he wanted people to know that they get the same respect as him as everyone is doing their job.

“A set is often rush-rush-rush, and we forget the basic human decencies. I want people to know I respect everything they do and they’re just doing a job like I am. To me, it’s just respect and good manners.”

Last year, when the announcement of Cavill leaving the show happened, it came along with some strange rumors that stated the reason behind his exit. At the time, the Deuxmoi podcast claimed that the Mission: Impossible-Fallout star’s alleged toxic behavior was getting overwhelming for women writers and showrunner which ultimately led to his exit.

The report suggested that he would allegedly ignore the female crew by overrunning their decisions and making last-minute changes to the script. That led to the female staff being unable to do their jobs, leading to several complaints against him. His alleged misogynistic and toxic behavior in the later seasons got him a final warning which he allegedly chose to ignore leading to Netflix firing him.
