Bethesda is working on several games, like the new Indiana Jones title, Fable, and many more. Fallout, one of its most popular franchises, has not had a new entry in a long time. But according to some new PEGI ratings, a never-before-seen Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition could be in development.
The original creators of this particular game were Obsidian Entertainment back in 2010, and this studio is currently working on Avowed, a game that will launch this year. This Ultimate Edition could be from another studio that is working on a remake or a remastered version.
Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition could be on the way
While Fallout: New Vegas is indeed highly praised in the Fallout franchise, it’s important to note that it was developed by Obsidian Entertainment. This studio is also known for other titles such as The Outer Worlds and is currently working on a game called Avowed that will launch sometime this year.
Fallout New Vegas was released in 2010 on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. Thanks to a new discovery, a new version of this Fallout could be coming soon.
This was discovered by Reddit’s user, ManuDOMB, who noticed that Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition was added to the PEGI Ratings official website. The Pan European Game Information has details about this particular version of the game being released on February 29 only on PC.
Players quickly replied, saying that this is only an update and not a remake or remaster of Fallout New Vegas. There is also an anthology of all the Fallout games to be released that will add Fallout 76, so this could be the case for the rating.
Bethesda could be cooking something
One of the Reddit replies also mentions a Steam DB update notice from February 28. There is an official Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition. This is a very strange update after so many years. If there is any possibility of a remake or remastered version, Obsidian will not be responsible for this; the studio is making the last few touches to Avowed, which will be released sometime this year.
Bethesda has two new games that will launch sometime this year. Avowed and Indiana Jones, as well as other games like Grounded and Hi-Fi Rush, will be released on other consoles like the Nintendo Switch and PS5. Xbox is testing the market with some Bethesda games. The Elder Scrolls 6 will also launch on PS5.
