Bill Skarsgård’s upcoming film, Boy Kills World recently released its trailer, and fans cannot help but admire his physical transformation for the role. While the actor is known for being extremely dedicated to the roles he takes up, he has been more inclined to spend hours in a makeup chair than in the gym. That seems to have changed with the action film.

Ever since he starred as Pennywise in IT, his potential as a comic book villain cannot seem to be overlooked by the world. Now, after seeing the full extent of what Skarsgård can do for the roles he plays, fans wish to see him as an iconic villain in Robert Pattinson’s Batman 2.

While many have a certain clown in mind who they think would be perfect for him, another antagonist is hiding in plain sight who would be perfect for Skarsgård’s capabilities.

Bill Skarsgård As a Batman Villain

For years, many have wanted Bill Skarsgård to play the role of The Joker in some project or the other. However, there are only so many killer clowns one actor can play. While there is absolutely no doubt that he would be perfect for the role, Barry Keogen has already been cast in it. On top of this, he has already done that type of character before. So. the IT actor almost seems overqualified to play the role of the Clown Prince of Gotham.

There is one other villain who would be perfectly suited for Skarsgård and his capabilities as an actor. An iconic villain from the comics who is yet to make a live-action appearance and shakes Batman to his very core: Hush, or Thomas Elliot.

There are very few villains who have managed to affect Bruce Wayne to a level that this antagonist has. Not only does he know the identity of the Batman, but he also has a very close and personal connection with him.

Since whoever would play the character would have to terrorize both, Gotham at night, and Bruce Wayne during the day, Skarsgård would get an opportunity to show off both his acting and fighting skills.

Who Is Hush?

Throughout the many versions of Hush, the person who lies behind the bandages has changed a couple of times. In the 2019 film, Batman: Hush, his identity was taken on by The Riddler, who ended up killing Thomas Elliot to infuriate Batman. However, for the majority of his appearances, Hush has been an alter ego created by Elliot to terrorize his childhood friend, Bruce Wayne.

The two grew up together and in the 2002’s Batman #608, the character was known for being a better strategist than Wayne himself. It has also been hinted that Elliot was a psychopath, planning to kill his parents for their fortune when he was younger.

Such a role would be a true challenge for Bill Skarsgård, pushing his limits as an actor, and would test how well he could play someone as complex as Hush. Elliot is also excellent at physical combat, so the actor’s training for Boy Kills World would come in handy.

The addition of Hush into Batman 2 would also make a lot of sense as Robert Pattinson’s Batman has gotten little to no backstory. Since Elliot is one of Bruce’s oldest friends, their past together could act as a window into the latter’s childhood and what made him become Batman.
