Singer-songwriter Billie Eilish has made a name for herself in the music industry as well as in Hollywood with her unique and sultry voice from the very beginning of her career. Eilish gained popularity with her debut single Ocean Eyes, written and produced by her brother, Finneas, back in 2015. Since then, she has only leaped higher and higher with success.
Eilish recently wrote What Was I Made For? – an original song for the Barbie OST, which has received five nominations at the upcoming 66th Annual Grammy Awards, including Record of the Year and Song of the Year. Safe to say, the singer is flying high in the clouds right now.

Ocean Eyes Distract Billie Eilish
Recently, Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas were being interviewed by ExtraTV on their experience working on the Barbie movie, and writing a song that has been such a commercial success, and even gained the notice of the Music Academy.
But there is someone who can distract this uber-successful singer while she is being interviewed for her Grammy-nominated music. Who is it, you suppose? Well, it’s none other than the blue-eyed, Oscar nominated actor himself, Cillian Murphy.
“Cillian’s over there, guys… just saying. Sorry, I just got distracted, it’s all good.”
The Ocean Eyes singer admitted to being distracted by the ocean eyes of the Oppenheimer star. And can we really fault her for that? To be fair, anyone would be distracted in the presence of the brilliant talent, which is Cillian Murphy.

Billie Eilish Is Honored To Be a Part of Barbie
Talking about their own project, Eilish and her brother were both very proud of the movie as well as the music. The brother-sister duo worked on the song together, with both having writing credits for What Was I Made For?
Speaking of the success the soundtrack gained since its release, Billie Eilish said,
“It is so surreal… to just be involved at all was such an honor… and I felt like the movie was very understood and that made me feel really good… to be part of that was huge.”
