It looks like there will be plenty of Black Friday deals to pick over, and Nintendo of America has announced plenty of bargains for fans ahead of that date. Much like it did last year, Nintendo intends to reduce many first-party titles by around $20, and some of the Black Friday deals can be picked up as early as Friday, November 10.
There has already been confirmation that there will be a Switch OLED bundle with a copy of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate included in its Black Friday deals. However, in addition to this, Nintendo has announced that it intends to release a Super Mario Party bundle, which includes a red and blue Joy-Con, and according to the platform, this bundle would see players saving around $39.
What Else Can You Expect From Nintendo on Black Friday?
Following the deals for Black Friday that were seen last year, Nintendo intends to discount many titles, and starting November 19, fans can pick up games such as Luigi’s Mansion 3, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Xenoblade Chronicles 3, and Super Mario Odyssey for only $39.99.
For those players who have not experienced these games, this may be the perfect time to pick them up at a discounted rate. Nintendo has also advised that certain titles will be available from select retailers for as little as $29.99 and $19.99, respectively.
Fans could see themselves picking up titles such as Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, Kirby’s Return to Dream Land, and Minecraft Legends: Deluxe Edition for as little as $29.99. A copy of Everybody 1-2-Switch can be purchased for only $19.99. Nintendo went further by advising that further Cyber Deals will be available from its website and Switch’s e-shop starting November 20.
Many players may have their interest piqued by the Nintendo Switch OLED bundle, which includes a copy of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and, on top of that, a three-month subscription to Nintendo Switch Online. Retailers who are participating in the promotion will be selling this bundle for $350 starting November 19, and if you price up the bundle individually, it works out at a saving of around $68.
We should point out that, while this deal is exclusive to the US market, it is on the slightly underwhelming side in terms of the look of the console. The aesthetics of the Switch are not as exciting as 2018’s Smash-themed dock; the latest deal sees just a plain black Nintendo Switch OLED dock. However, there are the Joy-Con controllers, which are emblazoned with the iconic cross logo from the Smash series.
Some Nintendo fans may prefer to pick up the Super Mario Party bundle, which includes Red and Blue Joy-Con controllers to match that iconic Mario look. This also comes with a download code for the game itself and is retailing at around $99.99 from participating retailers. Nintendo has advised that this sees a saving of around $39 for those who were curious.
The more well-known games will be the biggest draw of the deals available, but many players may want to take a look at Xenoblade Chronicles 3 if they haven’t already. Regarded by fans as one of the best Switch games ever made, with a captivating storyline and enchanting characters, this may be a game that surprises you with how good it is.
As with every year, there are plenty of Black Friday deals to sort through, and although there may be some deals that aren’t the greatest from various publishers across the consoles, there are some titles from Nintendo that look to be great for those who want to pick up a highly-rated title at a reduced price.
