As of September 11th, Blumhouse has now acquired a brand-new headquarters that they will be using from now as Jason Blum, the founder of Blumhouse, released an image showing a list of all the different development teams that will be working in this new HQ and one of these include the recently created Blumhouse Games

As Blumhouse moves into its new headquarters, it shows that they are moving forward with its progress as it will be able to move into the gaming industry nowadays. Even though Blumhouse is more targeted towards Movies and TV, this step forward into acquiring a new headquarters gives them a proper base of operations that will allow them to work closer with their staff and ensure a higher quality of service.

Since this news from Blumhouse was announced, many fans of their work became eager to see what products they will create in the future; currently, there are numerous different franchises that are being worked on regarding Films and TV, as some of these franchises are pretty popular like The Insidious franchise, The Exorcist franchise, There’s something wrong with the children, and Look into my eyes.

Although there are many more franchises that have been worked upon by Blumhouse, these are only a few of them, but some of their franchises will be pretty difficult to create games for. However, it would be rather interesting to see a game based upon The Exorcist or Insidious, which has been developed by Blumhouse themselves, and these aren’t the only games that Blumhouse can create with its new headquarters and team.

Now that Blumhouse will have its very own game department within its HQ, it has left many gamers wondering what kind of games they will develop once they get their game team up and running, as most gamers feel they will begin to create a lot of horror games especially games that will coincide with their current franchises that they work on with their Films and TV teams.

Even though there are many opportunities for this new game team to work on game adaptations for their numerous franchises that are already taking place in-house, there is a chance that the new game team at Blumhouse could create their own game that may start its franchise that may excite many players as their films and TV shows are entertaining already, but adding a new game franchise to their list would improve the companies reputation.

For now, though we do not have any news regarding the future of the game department that will be working in the Blumhouse HQ, there are a lot of high hopes from the gaming community that the Blumhouse game department will be able to create some horrifying games that will most likely scare players for years to come, but for now, we can only wait and see.
