Dwayne Johnson has returned back to his roots. That is, back to wrestling.
After an immensely successful career in Hollywood as one of the wealthiest and most successful actors of all time, The Rock has returned to the exact profession that initially led to his fame. And, as expected, fans just couldn’t be more exhilarated about it all than they are now.
But many are forgetting that this very return of his, which was notably widely anticipated in the wrestling world, had already been predicted a decade or so ago by the Brahman Bull’s very own rival back from the day, i.e. Booker T.
And guess what? The retired professional wrestler cum commentator even got the fact right about which WrestleMania The Rock would return in!

Almost two decades ago in 2004, Dwayne Johnson was released from WWE. This, in turn, eventually led to him focusing more on his acting career and becoming one of the most successful actors of his time.
Nonetheless, the ache in the Wrestling World for his return was still there, and fans couldn’t help but wonder when they could see him next.
It was during that period that the People’s Champ’s former rival retired professional wrestler cum commentator Booker T. predicted his return.
Back in 2014, the current color commentator on the NXT brand was asked during episode 12 of the WWE original series The Monday Night War: WWE vs. WCW if he thinks Johnson would not forget his roots even after becoming a big film star. To this, he had responded:
“He’s a multi-billion dollar actor now, but wrestling? It’s in your heart. It’s in your blood. It’s something that really never goes away. I can expect to see Rock trying to sneak in WrestleMania 40 if he got a chance.”
While responding, little did the former professional wrestler know that these very words of his would actually come true in their exact form as he predicted.
This comes after the confirming announcement from @TripleH on X which revealed — much to fans’ delight — that the Brahma Bull is all set to return to WrestleMania 40 to team up with Roman Reigns for a match against Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins.

Judging how this is indeed surprising to the core, fans can’t help but share the most hilariously stunned reactions to this revelation, with some even claiming Booker T. traveled forward in time just to answer this question!

While the fact that Booker T. predicted so accurately about The Rock’s return is indeed rather unsettling, thinking that he already knew about the events that are about to happen at the upcoming WM match seems to be a bit too far-fetched.
Nonetheless, with this decade-old prediction out in the air once again, watching WrestleMania 40 now would inevitably feel more exciting than ever before.
