As per reports from Dexerto, the 9th chapter is going to intensify the pace of the story, as it will be ramping up the action quotient and drive, tensing the scenes in Konoha. With Kawaki and Boruto now reversing their roles, where Boruto would teleport to the village using the Flying Thunder God Technique upon sensing a Shinobi’s death.
While spoilers suggest Kawaki is hungry for more battle as he attacks Boruto with a new attack, once he senses his presence in the village. The two engage in a physical confrontation, and their Karmas awaken, but Boruto Uzumaki decides to flee to avoid getting possessed by the Otsutsuki.
Meanwhile, Himawari would find herself in a subconscious world, where she was greeted by all the eight-tailed beasts, including Kurama beside her. However, some fans believe that Masashi Kishimoto is preparing for something bigger, as they come up with how Himawari Uzumaki has a mystery surrounding her power via Gamerant.
