In a heartfelt post from his official account regarding the success of the first season after the final episode aired, and the news about the upcoming season, Solo Leveling’s Action Director Kanno talked about how he was relieved that even after so many hurdles, the first season became a success. He also shared that he was hospitalized last year during the first season.

Kanno stated:

“Thank you for watching episode 12 of Solo Leveling. It was a work where the hurdles for the illustrations rose as the story progressed, but I think we were able to push through with the entire team.
