The 54-year-old Korean-American actor imagined a wild antic. In The Hangover, Jeong’s Mr. Chow goes fully naked and lands on the BAFTA-award winner. As per Inquirer.net, Jeong had taken his wife, Tran Ho’s permission to do the scene. The scene follows Jeong jumping out from the trunk of a car, and landing his naked self directly into Bradley Cooper’s neck.

Speaking in an interview, Ken Jeong revealed,

“It was my idea to do it naked. No one made me do it. I thought, if I do that, this movie will go like a bottle-rocket. Bradley and I are good friends. We did ‘All About Steve’ prior to ‘The Hangover.”

Narrating how it all came to place, Jeong said that Cooper and he discussed it at dinner the day before of shooting. To his surprise, Cooper was pretty into it. The comedian said,

“He and I had dinner the night before we shot that scene. I talked about my plan. Bradley loved it. As an actor, he was encouraging me to be fearless, too. So by the time we shot the scene, and I was naked and my genitals were on his neck, we were more concerned about things, like, ‘Okay, how does the camera work?’ We were not nervous about it.”

The real deal followed when Cooper was actually made aware of his situation. Director Todd Philips asked the Burnt actor if he was comfortable which slapped Cooper back to reality.

“Bradley said to Todd, ‘Until you brought it up, I didn’t realize how disgusting this actually is.’ In other words, Bradley and I were thinking about the film and not about our personal feelings. It’s great and intoxicating when you’re working with actors who care about the final result, and who don’t mind going through some disgusting hardship.”

Interestingly, after the ingenuine idea was brought to Philips, he made Jeong sign an agreement so that he would not back out later, per Today. The first installment grossed $468 million worldwide, per Box Office Mojo. The sequel, The Hangover Part II was also an immediate success, grossing $586 million worldwide. However, a few comparisons are made that regard the first part as more comical.
